Egg salad

Number of people this recipe serves: 6

  • 6 eggs, hard boiled
  • 2 tbsp Mayonaise
  • (optional) 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped (alternative: 1 small onion)
  • 3 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper

  1. If you haven't peeled the eggs, do so now.
  2. Mash the eggs with a fork, or cut them using a knife or an egg-cutter.
  3. Add the finely chopped shallot, chives, celery and mayonaise.
  4. Stir all ingredients together, making sure the ingredients are properly mixed.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
